Seraphim, a China-based manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, has signed a 250 MW framework agreement with Iraq-based Barzaei Halwan at Intersolar Europe 2025 to support solar development in Iraq. The agreement begins with a 50 MW procurement in 2025 and includes the supply of PV modules, inverters, and energy storage systems. According to Seraphim, Barzaei Halwan will use its regional distribution and marketing support to scale solar projects across the country. Both companies have stated that the agreement is intended to strengthen their presence in the Middle East. The collaboration is also expected to facilitate long-term technology transfer and expand project execution capacity in Iraq’s renewable energy sector.
