SOLARCYCLE, a US-based solar panel recycling company with facilities in Texas, Arizona, and Georgia, has signed a Recycling Services Agreement with RWE Clean Energy to process panels from multiple US solar projects. The partnership builds on earlier collaborations at RWE’s Alamo 7, Big Star, and West of the Pecos sites, where third-party testing confirmed high-purity recovery of materials including glass, silver, copper, aluminum, and silicon. SOLARCYCLE’s patented technology enables recovery of up to 95% of a panel’s material value. According to RWE, the agreement supports its circular economy objectives and aligns with US supply chain and sustainability standards. Nearly 500,000 panels have already been recycled by SOLARCYCLE, which plans to reach one million by the end of 2025.
