Poland-based R.Power Renewables, European Independent Power Producer (IPP), has signed a 15-year solar Power Purchase Agreement with Amazon in Poland. The deal involved electricity supply from two solar farms with a combined capacity of 164 MW. The agreement formed part of R.Power’s plan to expand its renewable energy portfolio across Europe. It also supported Amazon’s efforts to reach net-zero carbon emissions across its operations by 2040 and reflected the growing role of corporate PPAs in Europe’s energy transition.
