rPlus Energies, a Salt Lake City-based developer of solar and storage projects, has expanded its Idaho portfolio after acquiring the Blacks Creek Energy Center and Bluebird Solar assets in Ada County. According to rPlus Energies, the Blacks Creek project was purchased from Qcells and includes 400 MW of solar with an additional 200 MW storage phase supporting future operations. The company said the Bluebird Solar project was acquired from Mission Clean Energy and features 200 MW of solar paired with 100 MW of storage for regional supply needs. rPlus Energies has added these assets to its Pleasant Valley developments, creating more than 1.2 GW of planned capacity across Ada County.
