RM Capital Partners is a US-based infrastructure services investor and has recently acquired ISO Solar, a turnkey solar provider headquartered in Puerto Rico. Founded in 2013 by Ralph Diaz, ISO Solar has been offering engineering, design, installation, repair, and maintenance services for residential, commercial, and government clients. The company has served over 6,000 customers and was named a top US solar contractor for six consecutive years. Ralph Diaz has stated that RM Capital Partners was chosen for its expertise in solar and finance to support ISO Solar’s long-term growth. RM Capital Partners has confirmed plans to invest in people, infrastructure, products, and services to expand operations. The deal has come as Puerto Rico is rebuilding its grid, which was damaged by Hurricane Maria in 2017 and is backed by federal recovery funds. Francisco González Ohárriz has been appointed CEO, while Diaz has moved to the board.
