RIC Energy Group, a Spanish renewable energy developer, has closed €29.5 million (~$ 33.95 million) in financing for its Bluesol 1 and Bluesol 2 photovoltaic plants in Almodóvar del Campo, Ciudad Real. The transaction was structured as project finance and funded by Alameda Energy Fund, managed by Beka Credit. With a combined capacity of over 60 MW, the Bluesol 1 and 2 plants marked RIC Energy’s first construction projects in Spain. The milestone reflected the company’s transition toward an Independent Power Producer (IPP) model after more than two decades of renewable energy development across four continents.
