RenewSys India, a Mumbai-headquartered vertically integrated PV manufacturer, has received a 700 MW order from Ahmedabad-based PV manufacturer Kosol Energie for high-performance POE encapsulants. According to RenewSys, deliveries under the agreement are scheduled to be completed by December 2025 to support Kosol Energie’s solar project development. RenewSys has stated that it is targeting an annual encapsulant production capacity of 30 GW by FY26-27. RenewSys has also planned to expand its backsheets manufacturing capacity to 4 GW and high-efficiency solar cell production capacity to 4.5 GW within the same period. As per both companies, the order strengthens domestic supply chains for critical solar components in India’s growing renewable energy market. During The Smarter E India Expo 2025 in Gujarat, RenewSys has introduced its Anti-Acid EVA Encapsulant and n-Type TOPCon panels, further expanding its product portfolio.
