RDB Infra and Power, an India-based infrastructure and energy company headquartered in Kolkata, has signed a memorandum of understanding to develop solar power projects totaling 51 MW. The projects, valued at INR 277 crore(~ $33.2 million), are part of the company’s plans to expand its operations in the solar energy segment. As per RDB Infra and Power, the agreement outlines initial commitments for project development and financial structuring. The company said that further details regardingthe locations, commissioning timelines, and technical specifications will be disclosedafter final approval. The memorandum reflects the company’s move toward diversifying its portfolio within India’s power generation sector as the country continues increasing renewable energy installations across multiple states.
