UK-based PS Renewables is a renewable energy development and construction company, has received planning permission for the Skye Green Solar Farm. The approval was granted by Braintree District Council. The project is located near Feering in Essex. The project will be built on 56 acres of land between Feering and Coggeshall. Once completed, it is expected to generate electricity equivalent to the annual needs of 7,500 homes. Construction is planned to start in 2027. PS Renewables acknowledged the timely decision by Braintree District Council. It also acknowledged the involvement of Feering Parish Council and the local community. PS Renewables had earlier received approval for a 34 MW solar farm project in Lincolnshire.
