Singapore-headquartered renewable energy company Peak Energy, has acquired a 48MW portfolio of ready-to-build high-voltage solar sites across Tokyo and Tohoku, Japan. The projects are expected to come online between 2026 and 2027, delivering nearly 60GWh of electricity annually under fixed-price corporate PPAs. Some sites will include battery energy storage systems to support time-shifted energy use. This acquisition follows Peak Energy’s earlier purchase of 11MW solar sites in Japan in 2025 and adds to its existing 28MW operational plant in Kyushu. The company continues to expand its offerings to corporate clients through both onsite and offsite solar PPAs, with or without storage.
