Parapet, a Bucharest-based EPC services firm, and Germany’s Kreutzpointner Energy have completed a 40 MW solar plant near Friedland, Lower Saxony. The companies were also constructing two additional photovoltaic plants in Zahna and Listerfehrda, totaling 72 MW, scheduled for completion by late 2025. Together, the three projects provided 112 MW of installed capacity and covered about 30 hectares with 65,400 bifacial modules. Electrical work included complete DC wiring, inverter installation, and internal medium-voltage cabling across all sites. For the Friedland facility, 500,000 meters of string cable were installed. The combined plants were expected to supply over 110 GWh of electricity annually to the German grid and cut COâ‚‚ emissions by around 33,600 tons each year, strengthening Parapet’s and Kreutzpointner Energy’s collaboration in the European solar market.
