Paired Power, a California-based solar microgrid systems and software manufacturer, partnered with Australia’s PHNXX to launch PairPHNXX, a portable, fully assembled microgrid solution. The unit could be installed within a day to supply power for off-grid or remote operations, including agriculture, construction, mining, military, and emergency management. Paired Power was accepted into the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy’s Preferred Provider Program, enabling it and PHNXX to supply renewable energy systems to Native American and Aboriginal communities. PairPHNXX was designed to arrive in a 20-ft ISO container and begin generating power the same day. Depending on configuration, it offered solar capacities between 46.4 kW and 92.8 kW, battery storage from 42.4 kWh to 636 kWh and output of 30 kW to 60 kW across multiple voltage formats.
