Origis Energy has closed financing for the Swift Air Solar II and III projects in Ector County, Texas. The two sites were structured with $290 million in senior secured debt arranged by Natixis CIB and Santander. Natixis CIB was the green loan coordinator and administrative agent for the package. The combined 313 MW (DC) capacity is scheduled to enter commercial service in late 2025. Both projects are contracted with Occidental Power and OLCV Stratos Development under two 15-year agreements supporting the STRATOS DAC facility. Origis earlier placed the 184 MW (DC) Swift Air Solar I project into operation with the same offtaker. The II and III projects are part of a larger 600 MW plan. Legal counsel was provided by Latham & Watkins, Reed Smith, Milbank and Husch Blackwell.
