Origis Energy, a Florida-based developer, owner, and operator of clean energy projects, has secured over $530 million in financing led by MUFG. According to Origis Energy, the funding will support two utility-scale projects scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026. The 150 MW AC Wheatland Solar project, located in Knox County, Indiana, is backed by a PPA with CenterPoint Energy. The Optimist Solar + Storage project in Clay County, Mississippi, will include 200 MW AC of solar power and 50 MW 4HR of battery storage under a PPA with the Tennessee Valley Authority. MUFG has acted as Coordinating Lead Arranger, Green Loan Coordinator, and Administrative Agent. Associated Bank, CoBank, National Bank of Canada, and NatWest were Joint Lead Arrangers, while Amalgamated Bank and Siemens Financial Services have participated as lenders.
