China-based NUUKO POWER has completed a 4.58 MW solar water pumping project for REEF AL ARED in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The system has used 7,769 TOPCon 590 W panels to generate about 7.99 million kWh annually. It powered deep-well pumps delivering around 700 cubic meters of water per day. These pumps irrigated nearly 2,560 acres of farmland across the site. The solar system was replaced with diesel-powered irrigation, reducing carbon emissions by thousands of tons each year. REEF AL ARED was expected to save about 1.76 million Saudi Riyals annually in operating costs. NUUKO POWER’s integrated setup combined photovoltaic modules, control systems, and water management technology. The project was designed for stable operation under high temperatures and required minimal maintenance.
