NORD/LB, a German bank, has offered around €110 million (~ $130 million) of funding for three PV plants in Aragón, Spain. The facilities are owned by Capital Dynamics, the Swiss investment firm specializing in clean energy infrastructure. Combined, the portfolio will install more than 250,000 ground-mounted solar panels, which will provide electricity to around 30,000 homes. The first site has a planned capacity of 54.89 MW of 88,500 modules, and the second site has been planned to supply 54.78 MW using 87,600 modules. The third site has been planned for 50 MW capacity using 80,600 modules. NORD/LB reported that the financing aligns with Spain's National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan to achieve 76 GW of solar capacity by 2030. Legal support was provided by Gomez-Acebo & Pombo for NORD/LB while Capital Dynamics was advised by Watson Farley & Williams Spain.
