Azerbaijan-based Nobel Energy, a subsidiary of NEQSOL Holding, supported Azerbaijan’s renewable energy transition with two solar projects in Jabrayil and Nakhchivan. The 50 MW ‘Ufug’ Power Plant in Jabrayil was developed through EnersoJabrayil and planned to generate 110 million kWh annually. It was expected to create 300 construction and 50 long-term jobs. In Nakhchivan, Nobel Energy signed an Implementation Agreement for a 30 MW solar plant, part of a broader 400 MW plan, with 370 MW aimed for export. Both projects followed a Build-Own-Operate model. Construction was scheduled to start in late 2025 and complete in 2026. Nobel Energy planned to include battery storage and smart grid technologies.
