Tamilnadu based Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, NLC India Limited, has commissioned an additional 106 MW solar capacity at its 300 MW Barsingsar Solar Power Project in Rajasthan. According to the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), this commissioning certificate wwas granted on November 2, 2025, confirming the finishing of this phase. With this, the total operational capacity of the project has reached 158.83 MW following an earlier commissioning of 52.83 MW. The project, implemented under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, uses indigenously manufactured bifacial modules and will supply all generated power to the State of Rajasthan. NLC India Limited plans to commission the remaining capacity by December 2025.
