Niam Infrastructure, a Nordic real assets investor, has launched phase two of its joint renewable energy platform in Latvia with Evecon, Baltic clean energy developer. The platform aimed for 110 MW of solar PV and storage capacity. Phase one included six projects totaling 39.4 MW, expected online in May 2025. Phase two added four projects with 36.3 MW, bringing total installed capacity to 75.7 MW. Completion is planned by Q1 2026. WiSo Engineering continued as the EPC contractor. Niam cited Latvia’s regulatory outlook and market fundamentals. Evecon confirmed its focus on scaling clean energy across the Baltics.
