NBK-Egypt signed its fourth protocol with Al Orman Association to fund the fourth stage of the solar power plant supplying electricity to Shefaa’ Al Orman hospitals in Luxor. The agreement was signed by representatives of both parties in the presence of senior officials from the bank and the association. This stage followed earlier initiatives through which the bank financed the first three phases of the project. With the new protocol, NBK-Egypt’s total contributions to the power plant were expected to reach about EGP 59 million by 2029. Once completed, the plant across all phases was expected to cover nearly 40% of the hospitals’ electricity needs, reducing costs and supporting a reliable power supply for patient care.
