Nautilus Solar Energy, a community solar company, partnered with TurningPoint Energy (TPE) to complete a 4.7MW (DC)solar farm in Georgetown, Delaware. The project is part of a 30MW (DC) portfolio spanning six sites. The project, containingnearly 9,000 modules, was built under Delaware’s Community Energy Facility Program launched in April 2022 through Senate Bill 2. Construction was completed in early 2025, with energy delivery to begin soon in the Delmarva Power service area. The system is expected to produce around 8 million kWh annually and support Delaware’s 2035 target of 40% renewable energy. Beneficiaries include Springboard Delaware, a nonprofit offering housing support.
