Israel-based N2OFF, Inc. has signed a binding term sheet with Solterra Energy Ltd. They will collaborate on renewable energy projects in Albania for one year, focusing on solar and battery storage. Solterra will conduct feasibility analyses for projects introduced through local relationships. If approved, Solterra will manage development, and N2OFF will oversee financing. Albania, Italy, and the UAE have a €1 billion agreement to develop solar and wind energy in Albania, with some power transmitted to Italy. N2OFF and Solterra are also advancing a 111 MW solar project in Melz, Germany, with potential for expansion or battery integration. In Sicily, Italy, they are developing two 98 MW/392 MWh battery storage systems, expected to be ready in 18-24 months. These projects depend on mutual agreements, corporate approvals, and compliance with laws.
