Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) has partnered with US-based Torch Clean Energy, a solar and storage developer for a strategic investment into Torch. This investment will enable Torch to expand its capabilities beyond development, expanding into construction, asset management, and project finance, leveraging on MSIP’s network and platform resources. Torch has a successful track record, having developed and sold over 1.2 GW of renewable power assets. The company has established strong offtaker relationships and has developed a strategic approach to siting and interconnection. Torch has expertise in key markets like the Mid-Atlantic, a data center hub, and the desert Southwest. This partnership will allow Torch to expand its customer offerings as an integrated independent power producer.
