Polish construction firm Mostostal Warszawa is executing the PV Janikowo photovoltaic power plant near Inowrocław. The project is valued at PLN 28.79 million (~$7.95 million) net.The project is Poland’s first hybrid combining a 18.3 MW photovoltaic farm and a wind farm into one power source. It is designed with bifacial modules and trackers to enhance energy efficiency. The turnkey scope excludes panel supply but includes construction, road, electrical, energy, and telecommunications infrastructure. Expansion of the existing grid connection point is also part of the works. The facility is planned to host 30,500 solar panels upon completion. Most of the construction is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2025. Final permits from the grid operator and the acceptance protocol are expected by September 30, 2026.
