Greece based MORE, part of the Motor Oil Group, and PPC Renewables, part of the PPC Group, added eight solar power stations with a total capacity of 882.4 MW to their renewable energy plan in Greece. These stations received a Final Connection Offer to the grid, marking a key licensing milestone. The companies planned six parks with 742.4 MW in Kozani, one with 92 MW in Kilkis, and another with 48 MW in Serres. An additional 300 MW of joint projects had already secured grid offers, while 311 MW were pending. The generated power would be used through bilateral PPAs and the GAIA program for farmers. The Kozani projects were separated from PPC’s existing 2,130 MW plans in Western Macedonia.Â
