METLEN, based in Athens and London, have signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement with ENGIE for solar power supply from six sites in the United Kingdom. The agreement covered 235 MW of capacity, expected to generate 233 GWh of power each year and cut about 52,000 tons of CO₂ annually. The projects were developed by METLEN’s M Renewables segment, with most sites scheduled for completion by the end of 2025 and two more in 2026. The PPA expanded METLEN’s offtake portfolio in Europe and furthered its cooperation with ENGIE. METLEN had 90 renewable energy projects, including solar and BESS, in various stages of execution or development in the UK. The company was advised by Dentons and Our New Energy.
