METLEN, a global industrial and energy company, has completed the 12 MW San Severo solar park in Puglia, Italy. The project is expected to generate 21.97 GWh annually, powering around 7,846 households. It was developed under METLEN’s Asset Rotation Model and used bifacial solar panels. Local partnerships supported construction, contributing to Puglia’s economy. Earlier this year, METLEN also completed the Carcarello and Tarquinia parks in Lazio. Together, they supply 89 GWh annually to about 24,700 homes. METLEN currently oversees 130 projects in Italy, totaling around 3 GW capacity. These are scheduled for completion within four years. Italy is central to METLEN’s European expansion due to regulatory support. The company continues investing in grid-connected projects across key Italian regions.In the same period, METLEN secured financing alongside Deutsche Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Westpac for 597MW solar developments in NSW and Queensland.
