Metaltex SA, a Switzerland-headquartered producer of household and professional wire products, has installed a 581 kWp rooftop solar system at its Genestrerio manufacturing site to enhance operational efficiency. The company partnered with Ecosinergie Tienergy SA, a Ticino-based solar installer, and Krannich to deploy AIKO’s Neostar 2P 470 W N-Type ABC modules for improved rooftop utilization. As per Ecosinergie Tienergy SA, the AIKO modules offered the highest power relative to occupied surface along with complete durability guarantees. The installation used 1,236 modules at a 15 degree tilt, resulting in a 4.4 percent capacity gain over comparable TOPCon designs. According to Metaltex SA, AIKO’s ABC technology has supported stronger first-year generation, faster payback and improved long-term operating stability under varied weather conditions.
