Munich Ergo AssetManagement GmbH (MEAG) sold a 157 MW renewable energy portfolio in the UK to ENGIE, a global energy transition utility. The sale is subject to UK Government clearance. The portfolio included three operational onshore wind farms totaling 102 MW and four solar parks totaling 55 MW, located in England and Wales. MEAG acted as the asset manager of Munich Re Group. The company managed approximately €362 billion (~$ 393.75 billion) in assets, including € 63 billion for non-Group investors. Tobias Kerschbaumer acknowledged the cooperation with ENGIE and confirmed the successful signing of the transaction.
