Masdar, TotalEnergies & EPointZero signs clean energy portfolio

UAE-based Masdar, TotalEnergies, and EPointZero signed an agreement to bring clean energy to developing countries in Africa and Asia. This deal came from the UAE-France High-Level Business Council and followed another agreement on artificial intelligence between the two countries. Under the agreement, Masdar and TotalEnergies planned to develop clean energy projects in Southeast Asia and support Africa’s energy transition. TotalEnergies and EPointZero aimed to explore renewable energy and storage opportunities in India. The Council, launched in 2022, served to strengthen economic and energy cooperation between the UAE and France, fostering investment and innovation in renewable energy.
