Madrid-based Lantania has expanded its international operations with €108 million in projects in Italy and Turkey. In northern Italy, the company constructed three photovoltaic parks near Bologna with a combined capacity of 80 MW and an investment of €35 million. In Turkey, Lantania, together with Özaltın İnşaat, undertook the fourth expansion of the Ankara İvedik drinking water treatment plant under a €73 million contract financed by the World Bank. The project increased the facility’s treatment capacity to 2,226,000 m³/day. The solar parks, scheduled for completion by June 2026, were expected to produce 118 GWh annually, supplying around 27,000 households and reducing 29,500 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
