Singapore-based Levanta Renewables, supported by investor Actis, has signed a rooftop solar power deal with Karex for its Innolatex Thailand plant in Hat Yai. The 2.2 MW solar system will supply about 44 GWh of electricity over 15 years and help cut 26,000 tons of CO2 emissions. This is Karex’s first solar power agreement. The project helps Karex lower its use of grid power and reduce its environmental impact. It also supports Thailand’s goals for cleaner energy and lower carbon emissions by 2050 and beyond.
