A global solar module manufacturer, JinkoSolar secured the No.1 spot in Wood Mackenzie's 2025 Global Solar Module Manufacturers Ranking. The evaluation covered 40 manufacturers based on nine key criteria, years of manufacturing experience (10%), module manufacturing experience in production (10%), vertical integration (15%), capacity utilization (10%), technological maturity (15%), research and development (5%), financial conditions (10%), adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards (10%), and third-party certifications (15%). By the end of 2024, company’s cumulative module shipments surpassed 300 GW, maintaining the top position in global shipments for five years. The ranking was based on data from the first half of 2024, considering factors like vertical integration, financial conditions, and third-party certifications. The company recently reported a 33.84% conversion efficiency breakthrough in its N-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem solar cell technology.
