JinkoSolar reports sharp revenue decline and gross loss in Q1 2025

JinkoSolar, headquartered in China, has recently released its Q1 2025 financial report highlighting operational and market performance. JinkoSolar has shipped 17.5 GW of modules in Q1 2025, maintaining its global leadership. JinkoSolar has said that total shipments, including 1.63 GW of cells and wafers, were 19.13 GW, down 27.7% quarter-over-quarter. According to JinkoSolar, revenue was RMB13.84 billion (~US$1.91 billion), reflecting a 33.0% decline from Q4 2024 levels. JinkoSolar reported that it has posted a gross loss of RMB352.9 million (~US$48.6 million), as production costs were higher than sales revenue. JinkoSolar has stated it has surpassed 320 GW in cumulative module deliveries across nearly 200 countries and regions. JinkoSolar has projected Q2 2025 shipments between 20 GW and 25 GW.
