JA Solar, a China-based manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, has received the "Overall Highest Achiever" award from the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) for 2025. RETC said that this is the sixth consecutive year JA Solar has earned the recognition based on its PV Module Index Report. Only 13% of all tested modules have met RETC’s extended performance standards, which are stricter than standard IEC certification requirements. JA Solar’s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro n-type module has ranked highest in 12 test categories, including damp heat, potential-induced degradation, ultraviolet-induced degradation, and overall efficiency. The DeepBlue 4.0 Pro was also included as a "Top Performer" in the PVEL 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard. JA Solar has confirmed the module is in extensive use in utility-scale and distributed photovoltaic projects to ensure long-term energy performance.
