Chinese PV module manufacturer JA Solar has supplied its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules to a 2.5 MW project installed at Coca-Cola Pakistan's manufacturing facility in Faisalabad, Punjab Province. The module manufacturer says the project was designed to work effectively under extreme temperatures and dusty conditions in the region. The DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules were employed for this installation because of their previous reliability record under strong UV radiation and the varying climatic conditions. The generated power has been injected directly into the internal grid of the plant, supplying part of its operation energy demand. The project has shown how localized solar installations can help improve energy reliability for the industrial facilities operating in severe weather conditions throughout Pakistan.
