Infinis, one of the UK’s low-carbon energy generators, has started construction on two renewable energy projects. These include Ford Oaks Solar Park in Devon and Oaklands Solar and BESS Energy Park in the Vale of Glamorgan.Ford Oaks, located near Exeter Airport, aimed to generate 37 GWh annually and sought Building with Nature Accreditation for its green infrastructure. Oaklands, Infinis’ first co-located solar and battery site in Wales, was expected to deliver 70 GWh per year with 46 MW of battery storage and a projected 172% biodiversity net gain. Ethical Power acted as the principal EPC contractor for both projects under an existing construction framework agreement.
