Illuminate USA, a solar panel manufacturer in North America, has signed a five-year agreement with SOLARCYCLE for domestically manufactured solar glass. The deal will supply 3 GW of panels annually, totaling 15 GW over five years, for Illuminate USA’s Pataskala, Ohio facility. SOLARCYCLE’s planned factory in Cedartown, Georgia, will produce the glass using recycled materials from retired solar panels. Illuminate USA is the largest customer for the facility, which is shovel ready and awaiting final investment. Initial deliveries are targeted for early 2028. Once operational, the plant will be the first in the U.S. to produce specialized glass for crystalline-silicon solar panels and the first globally to use recycled glass cullet from end-of-life panels. SOLARCYCLE’s solar glass production capacity is already largely committed under long-term supply agreements.
