Germany-headquartered IDEEMATEC has signed Europe’s largest tracker-based agri-photovoltaics contract. The company supplies tracker systems for 226 MW of agri-PV projects. SonnenBau GmbH, part of Burgenland Energie AG, is the project partner. The agreement covers three separate projects across Europe. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. IDEEMATEC’s L:TEC® Agri-2P tracker system has been developed for these applications. It allows agriculture and energy production to operate together efficiently. The contract signals scalable technical solutions for complex energy demands. It is positioned as a timely response to energy and land use requirements.
