The site spans 39.1 hectares in Felkirk, Wakefield, and connects to Monckton Substation. It is expected to power around 11,400 households annually. The project may offset approximately 28,347 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. Biodiversity measures include a 64.40% rise in habitat units, 43.14% in hedgerows, and 27.33% in watercourses. The layout includes setbacks from public roads, recreation areas, and protected structures. Areas have been allocated specifically for biodiversity enhancement. The project brings direct investment to the region. Construction is set to create new jobs, with operational roles to follow. Business rates are estimated at GBP 56,600 (~$ 75137) annually for 40 years.
