Huasun Energy, a China-based manufacturer of heterojunction (HJT) solar modules, has introduced its Kunlun vertical modules at Bulgaria’s 17th BATA AGRO exhibition. The vertical modules, which feature nearly 100% bifaciality, are designed for Agri-PV systems that allow crop cultivation and machinery access between panel rows. According to Huasun Energy, the Kunlun series is engineered for high energy yields and is suitable for vertical installations across varied environments. The event marked the product’s debut in Bulgaria and attracted significant attention from stakeholders in the agriculture and energy sectors. Huasun Energy has partnered with Germany-based Next2Sun to implement several megawatt-scale vertical Agri-PV projects across Europe. The concept is aligned with Bulgaria’s goals for renewable energy and rural development by promoting more efficient and dual-purpose land use in farming regions.
