Huasun Energy, a China-based provider of high-efficiency solar solutions, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Italy’s New Time, a leading glass and photovoltaic building materials manufacturer, to advance heterojunction (HJT) technology and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) applications in Europe. As per Huasun Energy, the collaboration focuses on localized manufacturing of HJT modules, development of customized BIPV systems aligned with European building standards, and innovation in agrivoltaic products. The partnership aligns with Europe’s “Fit for 55” climate goals, combining Huasun’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities with New Time’s expertise in energy-integrated architecture to accelerate the region’s building decarbonization efforts.
