Huasun Energy, a Chinese heterojunction (HJT) module manufacturer, made a series of strategic collaborations at SNEC 2025 to promote HJT commercialization. With Xuancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Kaisheng Group, and DKEM, Huasun will jointly develop silver-coated copper paste, pure copper paste, and butyl adhesive for cutting cell costs and enhancing efficiency. For the purpose ofoptimizing its module design, Huasun has collaborated with Almaden to manufacture ultra-thin PV glass with enhanced light transmittance for light weight HJT applications. Cooperation with Triumph New Energy, a subsidiary of CNBM, is centered on rolled-glass methods for enhancing durability and performance of solar modules. Huasun has also collaborated with Italian company Newtime to jointly develop high-efficiency HJT and BIPV solutions for European market requirements. These efforts will seek to combine material innovation with local production approaches, enhance supply chains, and promote the industrialization of HJT solar technology through local and vertically integrated initiatives.
