Singapore-headquartered Gurīn Energy has acquired EDP Renewables APAC’s wind and solar project portfolio in South Korea. The acquired projects have a combined capacity of 303 MW, which doubles Gurīn Energy’s development portfolio in South Korea to more than 600 MW. Once completed, these projects are expected to contribute to the country’s renewable energy deployment and support ongoing decarbonization targets. In addition to its existing headquarters in Gwangju, to enhance its operational presence in South Korea, the company recently opened a second office in Seoul.
