Global South Utilities (GSU), part of Abu Dhabi’s Resources Investment LTD, has inaugurated a 53 MW solar power plant in Shabwah. The facility is supplying electricity to 330,000 households, fully covering Ataq City and six nearby districts. He added that it must serve as more than a power source, fostering skills and capabilities. The Shabwah project is already operational, marking a significant step in Yemen’s energy expansion. At the same time, the Aden Solar Power Plant is being expanded. Together, the two plants will supply electricity to one million homes. These projects were marked as key steps in Yemen’s renewable energy growth
