Global South Utilities (GSU), part of Abu Dhabi’s Resources Investment LTD, has inaugurated a 53 MW solar power plant in Shabwah. The facility is supplying electricity to 330,000 households, fully covering Ataq City and six nearby districts. He added that it must serve as more than a power source, fostering skills and capabilities. The Shabwah project is already operational, marking a significant step in Yemen’s energy expansion. At the same time, the Aden Solar Power Plant is being expanded. Together, the two plants will supply electricity to one million homes.
