An European EPC company Greencells and ESB has expanded the Drombeg Solar Park to 136.88 MW, making it one of Ireland’s largest operational solar projects. The expansion was confirmed through an updated contract announcement that outlined the project’s new total capacity. Greencells stated that the extension was part of its continued cooperation with ESB. The update also referenced the formal press release containing technical and contractual details. The companies said the project’s scale was increased to support Ireland’s growing solar pipeline.
