Spain-based Gonvarri Solar Steel, A global provider of solar trackers, is supplying 73MW of AgriPV 1P solar trackers in Campania, Italy. The project is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and combines solar generation with active farming. Trackers were custom built with 3-meter motor-pile heights and 2.1-meter ground clearance. A 50° tracking angle was added to support airflow, sunlight, and crop growth. Openings were included to allow equipment movement and protect crops throughout the year. The setup is made for both farming and solar use, matching local agricultural needs. Construction is set to start in the next few months. Solar Steel is handling making, shipping, setting up, testing, and maintaining the system.Prior to this,Gonvarri Solar Steel’s has unveiled new dual-row tracker solution, designed to enhance agrivoltaic flexibility and land use efficiency.
