GOLDBECK SOLAR Group and Münch Energie have completed the 60 MW Gornau solar park in Germany. The project is located on 40 hectares and has an expected annual output of 65 GWh. The plant is expected to supply power for about 18,500 homes each year. It is also set to cut around 18,000 tons of CO2 annually. GOLDBECK SOLAR said the project showed strong teamwork and technical skills in building large solar projects. He added that the project has contributed to both energy transition and regional energy security. The Gornau solar park was positioned as an important milestone for renewable power generation in Germany.
