An India-based renewable energy company that develops and operates solar power projects, said it has signed a definitive agreement with a leading domestic manufacturer to procure 875 MW of PV cells under the DCR category. According to GK Energy Limited, the order for deliveries up to March 31, 2027, consists of Mono PERC solar cells of 450 MW and TOPCon solar cells of 425 MW. The two companies have agreed upon detailed parameters relating to supply specifications, delivery schedules, and quality assurance. This initiative, according to the company, will be in line with the Make-in-India program and renewable energy policies of the Government of India. The procured cells would support Gaurav Kailash's ongoing and upcoming solar projects across many Indian states, thus ensuring better project reliability with increased integration of domestic manufacturing.
