Malaysia based Founder Group Limited has secured an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contract for a 25.4 MW utility-scale solar project in Malaysia. The contract value is approximately MYR16 million (~ $ 4.14 million). The project is being developed under Malaysia’s Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP), which enables corporate renewable energy sourcing through virtual power purchase agreements. Founder Group will handle supply, civil and structural works, testing, commissioning and grid interconnection for the solar PV facility. Once operational, the project is expected to generate about 53,000 MWh of electricity annually. It may also issue roughly 53,000 renewable energy certificates to support corporate electricity procurement strategies.
